Unfortunately, i came across a few complications within this work piece, so i can only present what i made with screenshots.
I made the short animation in after effects, using the shape tool to create the ball, and using key frames to animate it.
After the animation sequence was in place, the file was exported into a file able to be edited in Photoshop. Once in Photoshop i put every frame in order and used the ‘motion’ layout to make the individual bouncy ball frames create a fluid animation.
Here I’ve animated my final opening design. I used photoshop to create the movement.
A critique i would improve on for when i put together my final end animation is that i feel it goes just a bit too quick.
This background was made with photoshop, primarily using the pen tool. I used google maps street view as a reference, as to help me keep the proportions of the buildings correct. While creating it, I focused a lot on shadow and light as to give more dimension in this piece .
In the end, because i trimmed down the final idea of my animation, this background was never used. I used photoshop to create this, just as i did with the rest of my backgrounds.
For Pearls’ outfit above, i used for the first coloured one, but then made two more with subtle but similar differences. The first colour outfit i stuck closely to the ones i used in my water colour painting of Pearl. The green-blue on the second colour outfit i used the colour from her eyes and the pink details from her hair. The third colour outfit was a mix of the other two, i used the blue from the first dress and the pink details from the second one.
